.

it is a.m.
monday
he sits
in a McDonald’s booth
waiting for his order
a small one
like too many things
in his life he thinks;
in other words—
results of small thinking—
he has to learn
to think big,
to expect big things and
reject the small ones
but when?
he asks
he read The Magic
of Thinking Big
decades ago!
call him Christmas
or just what he is:
snail.

He is slow moving like a snail, layed back and taking life as it comes it seems to me to be like that. Christmas is slowly coming, but when Nov comes it won't be long, for Santa to come to us all this year. looking forward to it actually am for once.
