This feels like a transitional poem. It's that dazed feeling before something becomes suddenly clear as a bell. Then there's a sense of purpose again. I love paranormal topics. Ghosts do come into our dreams. They're all around us, and they influence us in strange ways - both good and bad. Hugs,

Confirmation of soul journey. Paranormal and its dynamics working overtime, Jude...stepping out to the wide cosmic veranda where you are picking up transmission from the messengers...has nothing to do with the cotton-swabbing of your ears, you're not "hearing" from your ears...good vibrations...

Beautiful postcard from your astral beach. Love the humour of all us beheaded, disembodied voices enhancing the echoes of your dreams, willing you on. Yes, we DO so often pin our hopes and aspirations on those we invest with visionary status - or those who earn it. How many REAL leaders of people think themselves great in their own eyes? Like Nelson Mandela said in his inaugural speech, it's not our controlled inherent darkness that frightens us, but rather the discernment of our own inner light - not knowing what it might mean or intend. All we can do is to respond to the call, irrespective of our understanding of its purpose, taking it as it comes. The path only ever unravels one step at a time. I love the last line but keep stumbling over "reliving" their presence: keep reading it as "relieving" their presence, which I think works just as well. Pinning our dreams onto someone else can bring much relief and solace, as we all know.
Lovely quietude in this gentle rumination. It takes me back to your old poem, The Body Poetic, which, to me, answers a lot of the inner dialogue and debating here. Whatever compels or propels you, embrace it and move on; it is your life's work. There is no such thing as standing still. If we don't move forward, we regress. And even though you may feel alien and mystified just consider the sleepwalker: even he always moves forward, and not back! :))
And guess what... Shine On You Crazy Diamond is playing even as I write these words... but of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kambridge Kate xx |

| Dreams have always been of great interest to me and I am drawn with no reservation whatsoever into this "world" you've created here. Your opening lines hint to the mind-bending, box-busting notions that lift this piece into the imagination of your readers. I am intrigued by "distant planet of my own making" and this penetrable feeling of not exactly knowing all that we think we ought to know, yet somehow also FEELING the knowing in a deeper place of being (sometimes human intellect can't keep up with the broader self). This seems to reflect the pre-incarnation intentions of our broader selves - intentions that may not always be apparent to us in this compartmentalized form of ours with all its (perceived) limitations. |

I once wrote "Dreams are the moments When we are allowed To experience life, Without an audience" Perhaps it is so and then again, perhaps our dream are just snapshots our lives as they are simultaneously occuring in other parallels; like a little taste of "here is what you could have had if you had chosen the life behind door number 2, instead." Dreams have been pondered, disected and cast off as nothing more than mental jibberish. Will we ever know the real answer? Does it really matter? Perhaps we should just sit back and enjoy the ride. I had fun with the journey that this offering took me on, Jude.
Take care,
Sherry |

| Dreams...memories of the past...visions of the future...or just an overactive imagination from a busy or stress filled day....I'm thinking all of the above. But in saying that, I think if we really pay attention to our dreams, something can be learned...no matter how big or small. You always provoke so much thought....one of the things I like best about your work. |

| Dreams. They could write a book about them. Oh, they have already? Drat! There goes my scoop. Of all of human emotions U believe our dreams are the most worrisome and misunderstood for what they are, and what they mean exactly. Some say omens. Maybe, although I have had some that I shudder to think of them as such. Some say our dreams are merely brought on by digesting too much pizza before we go to bed. There is one thing I know for sure, dreams are individual and personal as our fingerprints or DNA. |

When we venture into the shadowlands that exist between this world and another be it reality and dreams or life and death we leave part of ourselves in both world. It is good to explore and open our souls to other dimensions of space and time as long as we keep site of the rope that tethers us to reality.

Jude, You know as well as I do, our dreams are trying to guide us, to warn us, to enlighten us. This dream is from the darkest pain and recesses of your soul. Perhaps you must listen to those voices that sound familiar with out seeing who they are, but knowing in your soul that they mean well and positively know where you should be going on this journey that you have begun. Continue to listen carefully to your dreams, they will carry you to safety and a safe shore. Remember, "love is an emotion" love cannot be bought or sold, it can only be felt. If you need "love", "be" love"...Anytime my dearest Shaman Man, you would like to chat let me know, I am here for you. I treasure your wisdom and your spirituality and the poet and the man.
Much peace, light, and "love",
