her life is flooded by forces

she tries to keep under control

   when night descends,

she notices shadows

scoot by the corners of her eyes

         she accepts their presence

     to be secret thoughts

                        passing through her imagination,

like ripples coming out of nowhere

from the middle of a pond

               she converses with the wind

as her soul dances across the moonlit sand

together they perform a holographic ballet,

            a perfected form of action

                           devoid of motion

sometimes the windy howl pushes her about,

                       yet she always celebrates

the verve of her unseen muse

and the verses written by its invisible hands

the waves soothe and excite her,

                      stars serenade inside her eyes

the expanse of the milky way

is captured in her unspoken words

                 sometimes angels scold her

for doubting her ability to manage her dreams

                              she then loses control

                     surrendering to their reasoning,

                     succumbing to their wishes

     while signing pages

                      imprinted in the sky

jude, your verbal "holographic ballet" has transformed the press of the universe into the human mold of expressions - a work to savor with herbal tea and soft light - I wish you love and peace my dear friend - Jon Michael

I love all things to do with reading the heavens and the harbingers thereof and therefrom. "Her" soul sounds to be always beautifully in motion and in such harmony of living vibration with her elements that the effect is almost one of profound stillness. Another beautiful work of your pen and your heart that flows effortless as the wind. Just love those chiding angels she's at pains to both appease and hoodwinkingly tease, keeping all her many prodigious plates spinning along with finding the time to simultaneously sign and autograph the skies. Sage's initial comments make me smile, too; think she's been sniffing the Dreamjuice! :)) Good to glean from this that you're neither hard of hearing nor still visually impaired. Stay tuned, Kartero! xx

Lots of magic words in here. "like ripples coming out of nowhere/in the middle of a pond" There is terrific fluidity in this, and grace. It is a floating runaway scarf on the breeze feeling for me when I hear it: "...invisible hands" of the wind -- and "she then loses control" brings texture and dimension, a nice surprise. Loved this one, Jude. ~~ Diana
