They were ours.
The hero' The reluctant.
The master and slave.
In the deepest of our dark hours.
And their sins shall be forgave.
No other people so inclined.
To ever do their best.
Has stood so bravely for mankind.
In the face of such a test.
Our dreams combined,Do come to find,
That free men will not be confined.
Let freedom shine, outside the door.
And charity and e uality,
Bless our precious Union ever more.
Mr. Davis, And Mr. Lincoln.
In you're time of great despare.
Know that our banner wasn't sinking.
It rose higher in the air.
For by this dark be we endowed.
With grace in our good land..
To stand forever tall and proud.
And hold our brothers hand.
