The horse and the ocean.

In them, a powerful majesty resides:
The sea, with its cold, wanton clutch
and the beast, in its imposing, regal physique.
Both have compassion
both can be the epitome of patience.
Together, beast and element are comforting
in their abiding essence;
but also therein lies a fiery temper
that, if roused,
induces feelings of awe and dread.
