I truly enjoy being with you

And my admiration knows no bounds

Your strength, compassion, and love of life

And an optimism that constantly dumbfounds

Your constant caring, your faith in God

And you’re beautiful, too

These are just some of the things

I find most enviable in you

You always give of yourself

Even though I know you hurt

With a smile on your face, a great big hug

You’re the one I turn to for comfort

You don’t keep a scoreboard

Or expect anything in return

Just a “What can I do for you” attitude

And a heart filled with concern

That God blessed me with you
