ALL moms (and a few dads) will enjoy this memory! This catchy poem and illustration was made into greeting cards... it's been a local favorite!
|
“Mommy’s Little Fan Club”
I knew some day I’d be on stage
For all the world to see
I’d gaze at many adoring eyes
All staring back at me
They’d follow me wherever I’d go
No place for me to hide
Each wanting a hug and maybe a kiss
No fan would be denied
So now I sit atop my throne
My world perched at my knee
I’ll gaze at them with loving eyes
Because my fans, you see
Will follow me wherever I go
No place for me to hide
I’ll give them a hug and maybe a kiss
Each child by my side

| Love it! You have described in a cute way what being a mother entails! Love your style of writing. It's easy to understand and fun to read. |
