This funny little dragon and poem were made into greeting cards for children and families affected by autism. PEOPLE SEEM TO LOVE THIS!

“Aubrey the Autism Dragon”

The other day I met someone
Who gave me such a fright…

He came into my bedroom and
He stayed all day and night!

He climbed onto my book shelf and
He looked for snacks to eat

But couldn’t find what makes him smile
He likes a special treat!

So when he looked into my box
That’s filled with toys and such

He smiled with glee and reached down in
And said, “Thank You very much!”

He ate up all the puzzle pieces that I had inside
Then rubbed his big fat belly and opened his mouth wide.

The last bite that he took made the dragon burp and say.
Good-bye for now, but don’t be sad, cause I’ll be back some day!
