Decisions made right or wrong, remember they are ours alone.

There are many times we come to crossroads in our lives,
when paths meet, we dance and shake our feet...

(so that's what the Hokey Pokey is all about).

sometimes we celebrate with high fives...

I'm just lucky to be left alive
so many crossroads I have seen, come and go
without a stop sign or even one that said go slow...
for in Gods time and not mine...my angel's face to me will show.
many years..the road was walked alone, always straight towards unknown..
always searching out Gods purpose for me, and never knowing.
Sometimes I was allowed a glimpse of my angel as she walked away...
with her back towards me she would sway
I would get to the cross just after she'd passed
I would smell the etherial perfume she had left behind..or see her hair like beautiful sunshine but there were no marks left by her feet
Wally would say "dayum" that woman was fine
to bad at the crossing we didn't meet...
I didn't know then God was guiding my feet.. I didn't turn to follow her, I just kept plodding along like the dumbass I can sometimes be...and searched for her upon the sea.....alone
then came the day my metal God had tested....and said "Enough" for him and he rested....

Enter:
Wally walking his path alone, head down just like a clone
Enter:
beautiful wonderful glorious sunshine

at 90 degree angles they came

then at the crossroads she blind-sided him....because he didn't see the stoping sign

Dayum that hurt...Wally said.. and then with him she began to flirt, and dance about him like a buzzing fly
with his head still down she wondered why, he wouldn't look her in the eye
she smiled her wonderful smile raised his chin and then said..........Hi

Walt

OOOO... I like this one, Walt. It's funny, isn't it... It's like a knowingness that rests just outside our peripheral vision, that we are not alone even when we feel rootless, focus-less and even disorientated. I like this sense of wandering... and I like the as-if overview of seeing folks walking through a maze, not understanding that they are on a collision course... until it happens. Even nicer if it is a supernatural meeting of sorts. Makes you want to walk that way again... if only you could remember the way. Fascinating, thank you. Kate xx

Good Morning Walt,

Yes Our Individual Crossroads All Do Bear Decisions, and those Right or Wrong Choices are a personal perspective. I firmly believe all is not really wrong as there are "things" that are important to the seemingly wrong choice. Yuo know like a lesson, another earned shot to wisdoms forte, All for greater purpose even without understanding.

I enjoyed your insightful poetic express of journeys road.

Awesome yearning poem, and that time WILL surely come!

YOU should see it, Amazon.com it, and it's really worth it! Two men (in different decades) wanting the same and going the same dirt path, to....

Rather like needing to be hit up the side of the head with a 2x4. LOL

Seriously, this poem reminds me of the many times in my life where I kept plodding along [because I thought that's what I was supposed to do] instead of taking time to smell the roses. Imagine what I would have seen, if I'd 'seen' it.

God bless you. Kathy
