The bald eagle is indeed a magnificent bird. We are fortunate here that they are very common. As I cycle by the river most days, I have to be carefull not to get "dumped" on because they perch in the trees along the road waiting for the dead salmon to feed upon. Nicely done, Walt. Thank you. I wonder if saving the Eagle, which is a wonderful thing for all creatures are sacred, and letting mankind go would be the best thing of all. We're the dangeous ones on this earth.

At least somebody have saved the American symbol if not its reputation. Maybe we need to put the American way of Life in the Edge of Extinction List to challenge someone to come an save it.
