According to an FBI Behavioral Unit study 85% of the world's serial killers are in America. At any given time 20 - 50 unidentified active serial killers are at work continually changing their targets and methods.

How can we know?
The next door neighbor who looks so kind,
Is really a pedophile.
How can we know that the nice guy,
Who sits next to us each Sunday in church,
Abuses his wife and children on a regular basis?
How can we know that that quiet guy down the hall,
Named Jeffery,
Is really a cannibal?
That handsome, well spoken man named Ted,
Is a serial killer.
We are all only human and,
We can not stop anything,
From happening, before it does
Because we do not know,
What evil lurks in anothers heart.
How can we know?

Good question - easy answer: We can't know.
We can only live one day at a time, one minute at a time, rather and hope the good Lord keeps is blessing hand above us, and the devil far, far away!

We can never truly know as your informative and questioning poem suggests, that being said we should be vigilant without living our lives in paranoia and fear.

The time of leaving your home doors open are gone.
The time of leaving your children unattended are gone.
The time of look over your shoulder has arrived.
We have became hostages of suspicions because form the begining we wanted to play fair and by the rules, while the monsters would be left free because some good hearted ones wanted to reformed them and bring them back into the "good" society fold.

Outstanding write walt
If we knew they would never stand trial
we'll be taking the law into our own hands
I know I would, if a moster like them lived near
and his evil deeds were known
they don't care about us
why should we care about their rights
peace be with you

Ted rhymes with "yiu're dead" is that a clue.
The reason I'm still over here is because of americas weird firearms law, over 1 in 90 men are shot dead, yikes I prefer 1 in 40 million ever see a gun....

There once was a comedian who said he had radar on his shoes. I like to think I have a certain radar that allows me some insight into individual. I've had two died in the wool REAL stalkers and one came all the way from Brittany. After the experience I have relied on the instincts that experience gave me to refurbish my radar>

Satan can work his way into any heart, but it takes repetition and free will. Some people choose evil, yet, would any of us want to live in this world if God had fixed it so we were not free? I only wish He would trip these "devils" up in time before the damage is done. Never seems to happen! Thought-provoking post

Thank God there are not that many around for us to be suspicious of everyone. But keep a good eye out for your kids, it only takes one to create havoc and heartache.
