This could be a guy secret I'm not supposed to tell, but what the heck?
Stupid is as Stupid does.

For some men.

It is the chase,

Not the satisfaction she brings,

Nor the comfort she brings,

The conversation,

Even to the ethereal coupling,

Only the chase.

How stupid is that?

A question to seriously ponder. Most men have been spurned on by the heat of the chase with little thought as to what to expect the capture to bring. Stupid? Probably. Primordial, testosterone driven. Most likely. But all good men will eventually recognize and be driven for all of the moral reasons use mention. A life long friendship with the person you love. For the ethereal coupling. To share many compassions. To support and care for. Jon Michael Willey

Just so your buddies out there know... there must not be a cure for stupid. If there was, I'd never get a chance to sit down when I work in the E.R. There'd be a steady stream of people bringing someone in for a shot! lol Jean

Thanks for sharing the 'secret' Walt. ;)
Unfortunately there appear to be a great many women who behave the same way. Professional hunters who take little thought for their 'prey'.

Yep, stupid, stupid... but stupid are we to fall for it, too. What's even more of a pain is not just "the thrill of the chase" thing, but the insistence on total control and domination once the chase is over... Human fox-hunting should be banned... It can be so very civilised and subtle, too... Now you got me going! Happy New Year, Walt and may it be stupid-free and something truly satisfying... Here's lookin at You, Kid! Kate xx

It's that way for many women also. I've seen some pretty quick endings on both sides because it was all about the chase. Lady J

You know unfortunately, this makes complete sense. Once they get you, they really don't have a clue what to do with you...

Hmnnn this could well be true and if we go back to study the history of male romance we end up with a hairy man holding a club over the top of an unconscious woman. But then again in his defence...there are many woman who live to lure these very men with clothes, scents, smiles and soft touches....
