Another Bluegrass Gospel.
Via laptop connected to cell phone. At sea.

The old family Bible was always there,
Daddy would read it and say a prayer.
To keep us safe Lord and free from harm,
In your precious sweet loving arms.

The old family Bible was always there,
We always touched it with just one prayer.
To keep Daddy safe Lord and free from all harm.
'Cause Daddy protects us, With his sweet loving arms.

Musical break:

And now Iím old Lord and I bemoan,
Without my family and all alone.
I have the Bible the one so dear,
And when I read it they all come near.

Musical break:

You remind of when I was a child. The beauty of our family coming together, hearing His word, and learning to love with all our heart. This is a beautiful poem and song of praise.

God bless you. Kathy

Walt, of all of the items I might possibly have from my parents. I asked for but one. The family bible my mother has kept through nearing four generatios. I now have it. Though my mother is still with me at age 91. Nothing else do I desire from my folks. Within is God, the way to salvation and eternal life. My families important events, a chronology of the folks special to me. Only a fool could ask for anything more or anything less. Jon Michael Willey
