This weekend I witnessed a sad event,
A beautiful love that came and went.
It wasn’t about me this time,
But very very dear friends of mine.

Thirteen years of love had ended,
Broken hearts shall not be mended.
True reasons why we’ll never know,
What is behind closed doors,
Will never show.

I cry for them,
I cry for me.
I cry for feelings that are spent,
About a love that came and went.

It truly is "A Sad Event" My mom, bless her heart, was my teacher when it came to such events, and life will bring them! Mom acted on her own behalf with the "EX's"inf our family...if they were of good service to her, she would still hire them, regardless" It made me mad at first, but then, as time heals all, I saw it in a whole different light!" Maybe, many could still hold onto both without hurting the other??? or of the relationships they want to keep!

Your pen raises my deepest thoughts!
Keep writing, Walt!

Sorry I've been in and out and mostly out, it's a DEPRESSION out here, and we're scrambling! Ugh!

A short poem, to the point, getting home like a stab.
