A beloved pet,
You had a connection.
He was, yours alone.
A confidant to tell your troubles to.
Always looking with wonder in his eyes,
Or maybe a WTF?
No matter unconditional love he gave,
Be thankful for that.
Another animal in need waits,
For your gentle soul to see his need.
You’ll be alright my friend.
Just take a bath before you go to the pound.

it's Waltabute! -- that's a sideways tribute from Walt Hardester -- and you did a bang up job -- as for Ed, there could not be a more fortunate animal than one with Ed as it's friend -- good to see another whimsical rendering from your quill Walt -- they are too far between though -- I bid you love and peace my dear friend -- Jon Michael

Another animal in need waits

Far too many of them wait today; our abysmal economy has been extremely hard on pets - I just found another one dumped in the woods.

Wonderful write; I pray Ed gets the pet he needs in his life! He seems so unhappy; he needs some joy in his life! Well done, Walt!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Texas, Karen Lynn. :D
