Tight lipped, jaws clinched
Feeling the physical response, the burning rage -
Smothering despair
Dark fury
Lost hope
Can't you see?
No
Blind eyes taking in my unfettered form
Look at me in your baleful ignorant way
Composed
Have to remain composed
Hold tight, push deeply inside what would destroy
Destroy and consume your fragile world
Those of my kind silent
Ever silent we watch
We learn, we study
We know, of so much we know from mere observation
Yet we - never to speak
For your sake we are mute
Cold and uncaring
A wish never granted
Feeling too much - caring too deeply - seeing too much
Willing you to know, to see, to understand
Vacant eyes staring back into those pleading, begging for you own sight
I can not help
The way, yours to walk, not to be led
Step!

"For your sake we are mute

Makes me wonder who's wish, yours or who you are speaking to.. .

Very intense and sad for some reason, like someone who can't (won't?) be found even though he's screaming in the darkness. :(

The words written by these oft' overlooked bards are steeped in truth and screaming for attention.. For some forgotten reason, they seem to fall on deaf ears.

Keep singing Kip. I hear you, loud and clear!
