Become a Fan

The cupboards are stocked
with food for two
the furniture has that twosome look,
the utensils, appliances
overloaded drawers,
wedding announcements,
stacked towels, duplicate in color,
everything
set for the family of two.

Only the drawers
filled with my things alone,
and
the closet full of all my clothes
show
that half of the two
fled the coop,
one
not
residing here
anymore.
