Three score years ago,
Our grandfathers came forth
When their country called
Them to defend our freedoms.

Three score years ago,
An unexpected enemy
Flew overhead and showed us
Why we must never relax.

Three score years ago,
A brave and courageous crew
Aboard the Arizona were killed
And sank into the cold harbor.

Three score years ago,
We all came together, united.
In purpose and conviction
To stop the tyranny of many.

Three score years later,
We did not learn our history lesson.
Those who do not remember
Are doomed to repeat it.

Three score years later,
Our mainland was rocked
As twin towers crumbled
Along with the hearts of Americans.

Three score years later,
We all come together, united.
In purpose and conviction
To stop the tyranny again.

Three score years later,
Did we learn our history lesson?
Those who do not remember
Are doomed to repeat it.

This is dedicated to Sim Strickler, and Lewis Colvin.
Two grandfathers, two branches of military.
Two families, now one.
We will never forget.
