A PreludeTo:A Father’s War Prayer
No one
In desperation
Should have to
Wish
Ill will on a
Fellow
So that their
Son or daughter, sister and brother
Stay alive, a little
Longer
May, this
Madness
Stops forever
Peace be with you
Be more than an
Expression
Let these words take hold
And into our fertile heart
Grow
And start with
Each
Spread
One by one
To all the others
Bring the end of
Sacrifices for
War
In the name of
Peace

| Oh the promise of tomorrow, The prelude to a good father's prayer...Thank you so much for reminding me how easy this could be...if everyone cooperated...Jen |
