Once we learn to overcome obstacles, we will enjoy great success in our lives. Don't let temporary setbacks hold you back. The world belongs to those who get up each time following temporary defeat. To the determined go the fruits of success. Remember, Abe Lincoln hadn't won an election before winning the presidency.

ďTen Axioms To Guide Your LifeĒ Article
Converted to Poetry by Donald De Bruce
Itís not the obstacles that count,
But how you learn to surmount.
Pursue goals with all your heart,
Might, mind, and strengthóplease be
To seek goals vacillating
Dooms you to sudden failing.
From a tiny spark, a fire
Within ignites an empire.
Donít criticize, esteem her;
Make him a lasting brother.
Be unwavering, trusting
Loving and most accepting.
Our greatest strength can become
Our greatest weakness, loathsome.
Do not forget all you own
Are gifts from God now on loan
Natural man, do not drift,
God is giver of the gift.
Recall that failure is oft
A great teacher from aloft.
Itís not how you start the race
Or whether you set the pace.
You can tell how well you shine.
By how you cross the finish line.
Fools can earn money replete
But wise men save, most discreet.
To learn what God wants for you
Use agency on what you do.
Be accountable, unafraid
To live with decisions made.
Small work neíer a battle won
When on our part, nothingís done
The world is moving farther
Away from Christ our leader.
While itís one thousand miles
The true church has never moved.
You are different than your peers.
That increases with the years.
Godís holy temple hereó
The greatest college revere.
Holds knowledge you canít get
At schools with work and sweat.
Knowledge of the Savior true ,
His gospel restored anew.
Wear the Saviorís armor whole
All his gifts and wonders extol
Go to Godís temple today,
Banish all your fears away.
Draw near to heavenly saintdom.
Endowment is Godís curriculum.
Teaching from whence mankind came
Why heís on earth, not to remain.
Christ made worlds without number.
Earth is His footstool wonder.
He rules with love from above,
Glorifying God thereof.
