Meditation

Cool breeze under the willow tree.
Meditation on Him who created me.

My toes sway back and forth,
As I swing on a swing in an enclosed porch.

Watching children as they run down the street.
Still meditating on a powerful beat.

The smell of rain in the air.
Feeling free without a care.

Rose bushes framing the yard.
The beauty keeps my mind afar.

The ticking sound of water sprinklers.
Still focusing on my creator.

Reciting verses word for word,
While listening to the chirping birds.

Quenching taste of lemonade.
Clouds move in as the sun slowly fades.

Several hours have now gone by,
As I look up and see stars in the sky.

I had a good conversation with my one true friend.
And when tomorrow comes I shall meditate again.
