On wings of courage
Our Mjinsk suffering
Vey is me
On seeing red
Your time has come
Love is in the air
A simple poem, by a simple man
A ransom note
Last minute advice to Prince Edvard
You said what?
How low can you go
It'll save you the trouble, Edvard, you old fart,

To unknown depths the human psyche,
A world of wonder unexplored,
A world wherein our joys and fears are stored,
The deepest diving bells can’t go,
To reap a knowing harvest well,
The depths from heaven is to hell,
Some brave the tidal waves,
On surfing boards of learned skill,
With data scarce their baskets fill,
Forever large this universe,
Resides within us all,
A large and mirrored hall,
Such richness and variety,
Shapes and colours we display,
With this kaleidoscope we play,
Still, though many will,
A prejudice prevent to see,
Who they themselves could be.©03/10/2009

Still, though many will,
A prejudice prevent to see,
Who they themselves could be

How true, and how sad, for so many, in our world today.

Paranoia! Mirrors!! Shadows!!! Creaking doors!!!! An oneself looking over our shoulders to see who's lurking back there with a knife ready to be thrust deep in our back...
Can it all be just a game of smoked mirrors?

Brilliant Jasmin! I love the way you convey your subject.
with such clarity, and your attitude is wonderful! Lots of wisdom...
BTW I shape-shift into angels also, which makes your seeing me with wings a possibility;-)Since my big mouth brother pee wee is telling all about me, you may as well know too.;-)with love, tiger lily...

Jasmin,

"...Forever large this universe,
Resides within us all,"

is, for me, the key issue in this poem; we don't know our depths or all our potential or the full range (it might well be infinite) of possibilities of living and feeling. I like your approach here and your thinking.

ONE OF THE GREAT FAULTS OF BEING HUMAN...'SEEING' THE 'NICKS' AND 'BEAUTY' OF OTHERS SO MUCH MORE 'CLEARER' THEN ONE 'SEES' THEMSELVES. SO VERY, VERY TRUE. THANKS FOR SHARING AND GOD BLESS.
