Again four horses die for spectacles, I speak for them, for they cannot
|
There were four,
Precious beings all,
Innocent to boot,
Ran around in circles mean,
Beaten and distressed,
Where, the arena of Rome?
No the Calgary stampede,
Wagons ho,
In circles do they go,
The brutes, hand in till,
At gates of hell,
Three hundred million if you will,
Entertainment, a circus,
Nero knew about them,
Too, our Prime Minister,
Please the crowd,
The rude and loud,
Leather reams,
A two hand fisted,
Whips to pain their asses,
Tear flesh, and tear my soul,
Ran them in the ground,
Where their bones now found,
Innocent they were,
No one stopped to care,
No tombs no cross for them,
No religion did they have,
Unlike us superior beings,
Low life’s, brutal killers,
Gratify our end, with poppies,
End to end among hallowed holes,
Our goodness, engraved in granite,
Pleading for God’s mercy,
Be ever thankful, I am not God,©13/07/2010

| Well done, Jasmin. I've seen many rodeos, but not the Calgary event. I've never liked everything I've seen, but I do know the culture....Jerry |

| Jasmin, it leads one to wonder if there exists even one iota of true human compassion. A very sad commentary for "HUMANITY?" May peace and love be always with you my friend. Jon Michael |

A very sad indictment of our 'superior' species. And you speak well on behalf of all the species that cannot speak for themselves. |

Good poetry, Jasmin...sounding echos heard throughout the land. Corrupt horsemen become the bones at the hands of their jurors doling out the punishment. Justification in the highest degree manifests here in Debauched horsemen...be well.
Love,

May I be your helper when you deal out punishment? I'd be honoured, Jasmin.
