When birds build, listen to them sing all the while
When rose-buds burst in bloom see them smile
Joyous in their love and labour.
Work seems light when love is your neighbour:
Birds and flowers reserve no favour
Love’s free for all.
Wave’s lick on the sandy shore beneath the summer sun
Polishing every pebble - missing none
Likewise, Love our lives caressing,
Bringing our daily blessing
at length we are confessing.
Love reaches all.
Rustic farmers gather rich grains of gold.
The fruits of earth he will hold
But the seeds of kindness,
Sown in light that knows no blindness
Bears an untold yield, and finds us
Love’s reward for all.
