Authorís note

Your face is like the cover of a book -let it shine all the time. The poem is written for Everyone.

A Cheerful Countenance

A baby's smile is like a prayer
of affirmation loud an clear,
as when our Lord did declare
Our heavenly kingdom is here.

The mother’s tender smile behold:
 a self-sacrifice of herself to them;
More precious than the finest gold
Her faithfulness a priceless gem.

The Shepherd, toiling up the slope,
Sore-feet and weary - greets the sun,
like rays of kindness and replenished hope
His smile is warm to everyone.

So all mankind -smile for brother-man
present the fellowship above
It’s plain that - this is our Father’s plan
All faces shall reflect his love.

This is a very well penned verse to a love for the Savior and the child.

Thanks, ~D.
