Christmas time is almost here
A time of peace and joy
When the child tear's at the wrapping
And unveils it's favourite toy
But think of the children over there
Where Christmas is just another day
Try giving a toy to a dying child
As you wipe it's tears away
What are sleigh bells and Christmas trees?
To a child too sick to care
When it's medicine, and food they need
They're the things we need to share
Now although it's always been this way
It's time for change to come
And bring hope to children around the world
Not just for a chosen some
So we've got to pull together now
Because it's every coin that matters
And perhaps someday those starving kids
Will be fed and free from tatters
And now you can feel proud of yourself
Cause' you rallied to their cause
And because of you someday those kids
May believe in a Santa Claus

|This brings my past memories to view, once again...when an orphan girl became my sister, she spoke no English and never had a Christmas. I'll never forget her face when she stopped to listen, when I told her Santa Claus just landed on our roof.
A dying child is so distressing, there's no desire to wish anymore, or imagining the sugar plums, the only present need opening, is surrendering to His Will...or hope those with surplus feel the need to make a difference.
Thank you for sharing this...
even one more, is enough to be saved!
Love and Peace~
