Eat the greens


The vegetables gathered and hit the town
They were itchin' for a fight
"No one better bother us," they cried
"On our vegetable party night"

But the fruit pack knew they were comin'
And they gathered up in force
"If those vegetables know what's good for them
They will choose a different course

But the vegetables had a marijuana plant
And they ate all the leaves and got high
But among them there was a traitor
They didn't know Mr Parsnip was a spy

He'd tipped the fruit pack some information
Told the melon where they'd all be at
But the vegetables were unaware of this
They didn't know Mr Parsnip was a rat

But Mr Parsnip he got scared now
He had bitten off more than he could chew
Now his only thought was to get away
'Cause if caught, he'd be beaten black and blue

So the party it was in full swing
When Mr Parsnip he made his escape
But suspicious Mr Carrot followed him
Seen him talking to Mr Orange and Mr Grape

He blurted out to the others
Just what he'd heard and what he'd seen
Mr Tomatoes cheeks were flaming red
Mr Cabbage he was turning sickly green

So they all charged out into the street
And the fight it soon got under way
Mr Banana got peeled, Mr Grape was crushed
This was not going to be the fruit packs day

"Retreat,"Mr Apple loudly yelled
"There's no chance this win we might reap
'Cause the day has went so badly for us
We may end up in a compost heap"

So the moral of this story is
Take you're vegetables with every meal you eat
Or it may just all go pear shaped for you
Just like the fruit pack decomposing in the street
