As I wait for your return, I think of you so often as you haunt the memories I have kept in my mind. Stored in a treasure chest of recollection.

Tell me, do I only fictionalize you saying you love me still from miles away, almost lost to my ears but clearly audible in my soul?

What is still true or only truth of once upon a long time ago, I can no longer differentiate or could it be I never have been able?

Flashes come in uncertain moments to remind my heart of its place. It travels no further than wonder and remains true to its conviction....

As I wait for your return.

Tells of the uncertainy of the heart after time seems have brought more distances then the miles. Good words. Lady J
