inspired by the huge colorado winter storm that kept us covered into the start of Spring

Free falling crystals
spiraling down,
don’t you know it’s better in the clouds
than this guise of heaven on the ground?
Maybe your solemn journey
will soften this crusted façade.
Delicate elements
with lofty intent,
blanket these latest obsessions
erasing worn impressions
with your delicious artistry
sculpted in white.
Assemble a new bed for me to lie.
Floating stealthily
uniquely embroidered vapors spun,
solicit a taste of freedom
on the tip of my satirical tongue.
I suspend gauzy imposters
from my ceiling, trying to recreate
the whimsy of a fresh dusting
intending to tidy this dubious home.
Drifting kaleidoscope dreamer,
linger serene in these darkest of days
until flowers spring out of ice.

Snowflakes are so pretty and each unto their own. It is so difficult to think of snow when temperatures are reaching 70's and 80's, but I sure will try.

The way winter was so mild this year I swear that our daffodils came up with snow on the ground. Your imagery is outstanding. Blessings Always, Paul.
