 Ameliorate Yourself

when I say hurt

it's only a minor inconvenience

cause I've been to Pikes Peak

where a buttery moon

sailed into my room

creating a silvery sleep

for a midnight delight

when I tour

traveling wondrous landscapes

dreaming ancient dreams

in the land of change

I envision beautiful climes

finding my troubles dissipate

in many colorful vistas

when I meander

traveling the many different swirls

in all these many worlds

I find gentle peace

trying to see

with the shades drawn

I'm suddenly blinded by the light
