Two Love Birds

Two love birds sitting on my fence.

Cuddling together waiting for Spring to commence.

The chill in the air is still a bit cool

As they hug each other and sing and coo.

Not to worry, they will be fine

because they deal with changes of weather all of the time.

I look at them and they look at me.

They're sending me a message

that they are happy, and so should I be.

They like the sun shining on them and on everything around

Even though, warm weather is yet to be found.

Spring is the season for new things to begin.

They want me to know they are my love bird friends.

Springtime is a time that makes me happy as can be.

They will keep stopping to cuddle on my fence and show their love to me.

Being my regular visitors through Spring and Summer too,

filling my life with hope and love so I will never be sad or blue.

They will stay until cold weather once again starts.

And when the cold chill of fall and winter comes they will then depart

to a warmer climate that warms them to the heart.

They will be back next Spring to start the whole process again.

I am very happy to have two love bird friends.

Fall just started and I am planning for Spring already. Smile!
