This is a poem in my book, Living with Victory after Past Mistakes.

Wisdom, I have none.

My soul cries for wisdom.

I don't have a clue in my bones.

I need wisdom because I am confused.

I allowed my body to be misused.

I laid and played with the ungodly man,

Why? I didn't understand.

How many times must I go through

these storms before I learn my  lesson?

How many times do I have to get knocked down

before I realize that God, not man, is my real blessor?

Dealing with people makes me frown,

But serving Jesus places me

in glory with a crown.

Oh God! I need Your wisdom.

I need to make the right decisions,

So I can see Your kingdom.

I read my Bible because I know

The Holy Spirit will show me a Word,

And I listen to my pastor because I know

From God he has heard!

For God tells him what he should tell me.

God's wisdom is all I need,

Help me God to be all that I can be.

From my trials and tribulations I grow

Remembering how Jesus gave His life

For me a long time ago.

I will receive all my blessings,

Because of all the lessons I've learned.

I will receive all that my heart yearns

For pressing onward to my divine goal,

Wisdom will no longer be absent from my soul.

LuLu, there are many that share this common problem. They're looking for things in life to bring them happiness or completion, but only using part of what God gave them. Looking through your heart is not enough to find fulfilment, you must be smart and allow your intelligence to go along with that ride. The combination of brain and heart set boundaries and standards that help to achieve greatness and or reduce the damage that can be done. A message that needs to be said. Thanks you.
