My view of the poets' world
|
Sultry is the crescent moon
Shinning an iridescent shadow of passion
Soft to the hand, bright to the eye
The Swallow sings its melody of compassion
Rocks carved, another story without words
Running water so full, just touch!
Engulfed by beams of moonlight, wildflowers sway
Dancing as if they were wooed as such
Mandolin strings voice, ever so gently
A thousand notes to satisfy his love
Verses and notes sang without thought
Caressing, serenading her from the heavens above
Raindrops start to pitter, patter
His palette cradles rainbows of every hew
A symphony of creation majestic in taste
Winding paths of lilies and rose petals filled with dew
Ribbons of sunlight embrace paradise, without haste
