This is a dedication to my son, written a year after he was born. |
|
My little boy is sweet yet wild
Playing with cars and trains never mild
His passion is shown in bedtime stories
Another one, another one! He always begs
Just one more, as he jumps on his legs
A little Romeo, my little boy is
He has to hug and kiss a million times
I'm lucky to have him, I don’t mind.
It’s hard to believe he’s not a little baby anymore
Growing up so quickly, I love him more and more
He has his favorite movies and toys
He gets into trouble like all little boys
Yet through it all I wouldn’t change a thing
He’s my first born, my little king. The world is his stage
As he accomplishes yet another page
May love and success be his fortune
He’s one in a million I’ll never ever trade.
I love you Joseph, my little angel who loves his toys, trains, books, and cars
May God bless you and watch over you whether you are near or far.

| My granddaughter, little she is not, she is 13, viewed the video Enchanted with me over the weekend. She is a sweetheart too and loves her videos. We go off into the glorious land of make believe often. |

Wonderful write, you took me back to when my son was one year old. And my grandson is still like this. When he was asked if he wanted to go ride on Thomas the Train, he looked his dad in the eye and said, "Yes pretty pretty please." How to you say no to that!
Lovely Wendy,
