Their Moral Value

In the world in which we live,
Where we always take and give
We should aim to maintain stability
To the best of our skill and ability
It is understood that every one of us
May he be unknown or famous
Toward his family has obligations
As toward society and his relations.

Parents couldn’t learn as much as we,
But on certain things we must agree
In us their moral values they instilled
As our hearts with wisdom they filled
Grandfather, father, besides their obligations,
Found time to tell their stories with patience
I owe them so much, I will share with you
What I believe to be worth it and true

The writer of Proverbs said "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he uis old he will not depart from it." You have written whatn ismto me a very eloquent commentary on that simple verse.

What my parents taught me with the most value was not but they told me, but how they behaved. Their greatest gift was their willingness to have me explore life on my own and make mistakes. Allowing me to grow up by the time I was ten.

Too much guidance can be a curse. Making you dependent on your life.
