What Your Eyes Are Telling Me

You don't have to say a word
The way you feel can already be heard through your eyes

Your beautiful brown eyes tell me when you hurt
They tell me what you are afraid to say

Through your eyes I can see the soul of a man with strength
Power beyond reason
Warm like a blanket

When I look into your eyes I see you through a whole new light
I see the you that hides behind his shield

Your eyes are telling me that you have emotions
That you have maturity
That you are human

What your eyes are telling me, you can't explain
They tell me that you are searching for you

Your beautiful brown eyes are attached to a person
Whose inner beauty glows from deep within his soul

I wish you could hear what your eyes are telling me
