It is that time of the year again, shopping, Christmas carols, bright lights, yes, Christmas is in the air.

Ring, ring, ring Ding, ding, ding
Ha! ha! ha! Ho!, ho! ho!
Ring, ring, ding, ding Ha, ha, ho, ho
It’s Christmas time
Christmas is in the air

Everywhere, bells are ringing
Everyday, children’s singing
Bells are ringing Children’s singing
Ring, ring, ding, ding Ha, ha, ho, ho
It’s time again
Christmas is in the air

East and west and south and even north
Children’s faces, how they’re glowing
All because they are knowing
It’s Christmas time
Christmas is in the air

Bobby and Susie’s hanging up the mistletoe
Jack and Jane are peeking out the window
hoping for some snow
Mama’s out doing a lot of shopping
Daddy’s money gone pop, pop, popping
And his bill fold is flatter than
It’s ever been this year
It’s time again
Christmas is in the air

Grandma in the mirror Combing her silver, white, hair
Grandpa in the rocker Staring at grandma
Remembering the good old years
Joey in bed, tossing and turning
All because, he is wondering
Will Santa Claus know tonight
That he’d been good all year
It’s time again
Christmas is in the air.

Ring, ring, ring Bells are ringing
Ding, ding, ding Children’s singing
Bells are ringing Children’s singing
Ring, ring, ding, ding Ha, ha, ho, ho
It’s Christmas time

Yes, it's starting to look, smell, and feel like Christmas. Saw some Christmas lights last night; pretty! Also heard some Christmas music on the radio at the local restaurant while we were having a drink of soda. I love this time of year; but I wish people'd focus more on the CHRIST part of it rather than the commercialism; the world would be a lot nicer, that is for darn sure! Very well penned, Mary; enjoyed this one!
