After being in "lock down" last night at my college, I am feeling quite sensitive and melancholy today. The suspect that was loose on our campus was apprehended only after taking his own life...How sad for everyone!

Life Is So Precious!
by Amber "V" Moonstone
10/23/09
Softly,
I need your strong touch,
Meekly,
I need your tender lips,
Sadly,
I need to be uplifted,
Yearning for a moment
to be endeared,
to be handled
in a loving way.
Tenderly I seek your breath,
inhaling the fragrance of your love,
knowing of it's healing energy,
toward rejuvenation of my soul's trauma.
Wounded spirit,
shattered world,
touches all parts of me,
Life is so precious.
Surrendering toward medicinal
sleep, intoxicating essence
of your soul's empathy,
brings me toward awakening
realizations,
of living life to the fullest
knowing that you have done
everything you possibly
could do in this lifetime!

| Beautiful poem, Amber, of how it feels to be a soul in shock - with need for a deep understanding and warm empathy to absorb the trauma, yes, but also at such times there is no underestimating the power to heal of some very REAL arms and a strongly beating heart to shelter and hide within. Your note is truly devastating. I grieve for all concerned, however they have been touched and affected by such suffering. Thank God you are safe! Allow yourself the space to let all the anguish fly! May you know the warmth of healing hands about you. Bless you, stay safe, Kate xx |

Death walked about the corridors like a caged beast which never should had been there in the first place, it converted seconds in hours and hours in fearful time...and I wasn't there to let my arm to assure you.

Often in near death or trauma situations such as that it does make us take stock and look hard and long at our lifes and what we have done, are doing and what we can do in the future. Well done Amber.

I am so glad you are okay, Amber. I said some special prayers on your behalf to the Lord Above; He answered my prayers 'cause you are still here! Yes, life is indeed precious; but I don't understand what drives some people to do the things they do. Sad that the guy took his own life; he took the coward's way out!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :( |

Madness is the enemy.
It took my ex-wife away from me, and left me knowing that if it could do that, I no longer have any say in the matter of my life.
Fate, like any card dealer, doesn't even know what it is giving us.
Life is precious if you have someone to turn to in such times.
May chance make it so for you.

| The greatest tragedy, said Dr. John Bradshaw, was to go life through without ever having "hit the mark." I think you've just said the same thing in a beautiful way. |
