Karena is getting closer to Mother Gaia

Gaia Speaks (Karena Series)

by Amber "V" Moonstone

1/04/10

"My child you are my voice,
Go forth and remember my message,
Your people are in grave danger,
you must spread peace and healing light."

The wind echoed throughout the valley,
the birds flocked together,
The eagle swooped toward the river,
and Karena knelt down to touch Mother Earth.

My Mother Earth Spirit,
You have given me life,
You have given me wisdom,
but most of all you have given me my family.

They are the most precious thing I have,
I shall go forth and spread peace,
I shall heal as many people as I can,
and I will love my family with all my soul.

Standing on this sacred ground,
I open my heart to you,
fill me with your powerful energy,
nurture me with loving guidance,
and show me the light to save my people.

Just as Karena was about to stand,
a thunderbolt of lightening struck a tree,
it ignited a fire right before her eyes.
Mother Earth's spirit is mighty powerful.

She ran toward the safety of her family.
The children were playing with Tumas
running like wild stallions all over the Earth.
She smiled and felt contentment.

Tumas saw her approaching,
and ran to her, swooped her into his arms,
"My beautiful woman, I have missed you,
Where did you disappear to?"

"Tumas, I have a message from Mother Gaia, She wants me to spread peace and
healing light to all mankind.
Does this mean our enemy, the white man?"

Tumas laughed, "Karena, they would never
accept your healing powers, they are too
ignorant to realize that you can help them.
Do not waste your energy on them.

Now come,  let us go and find some food for our dinner.  I saw some rabbits just over there beyond that thicket.
They ran to find their dinner; as they ran
they held hands like two children at play.

"Tumas, I must tell you something,
do you remember the day we met?
well, I never told you that I knew we
were going to be together forever did I?

And I always knew how you were
deep inside, and I knew we would always
have a very special bond, soul to soul
that went beyond the after world ."

"Karena, you think I am a closed minded
warrior? I can read your thoughts,
I knew I was destined to be bonded
in eternity with your soul.  I accept that.

"Tell me, Why are you so serious today?"
Karena hesitated, then proceeded to explain "
We must enjoy every moment
that we have right now in front of us,

the white man is gathering in numbers,
and there will be a big war. I have been told
that we are in grave danger.  We cannot protect our land from this disaster.
We must find a way to end this
difficult time with peace not war.

The Earth's Spirit cries for us,
She is in tune with our energy,
she will aid us, if we choose the right path,
of peace and healing light,

Tumas, what can we do? Please
let us come up with a plan,
there is no time to waste.
Our children are counting on us!"

From the very first line your story-poem reaches out and absorbs the reader into its perspectives, irrespective of whether we know what has gone before. This is totally engaging, Amber - and convincing. Your characters live and breathe and their relationship is 3-D. I like both their individual contrasts and strengths - but also their vulnerabilities. You have a gift of showing that what is deemed to be supra-natural is as close and accessible as the concrete and material. It is a lifestyle choice to inhabit these other planes. And you demonstrate through valid characters that it is possible to fully integrate all these dimensions into our day-to-day real-life experience. I think this is especially so as you give us a slice of living history; perhaps it's easier to see how beneficial and important a spiritual life is when you present it to us in a timeframe and culture outside of our own. Looking forward to more - perhaps a Blue Moon duo this month! :)) Bless you. xx

"...the Earth's Spirit cries for us..." perhaps is too late when it is too late? or through eons Gaia as healed herself despite galactic calamities and now man's abuses...
The Great Spirit is the one with the last word.

A suspenseful ending on your latest offering, Amber. I like how this series teaches life lessons in an innocent way. Makes for a nice contrast to the power of Karena's worries.

Karena has prophetic insight and I have a feeling her intuition is leading to an unforgetable journey of which many things will be forever changing...her bond with Tumas, the father of her children is strong, of this world and the other world...we'll be hearing more of Gaia Speaks through the voice of Karena, and the price of peace will be hard won, so that one day, the children will have a dream of their own to cling to and council fires of unity...it's moving right on along, Amber...in each successive series, you bring us closer to days of the peaceful warrior...

Love,
Sage
