We have had a snowfall of two feet. It is so beautiful!

Bountiful Moments

by Amber "V" Moonstone

1/16/10

Mountainous snow piles,
glistening beneath the golden sunshine,
brings bountiful moments
into my soul.

The immensity of the snow
appears intense
as if I awoke into the ice age
where man was a mere speck on the Earth.

As each mountain melts
I will feel my sadness
flow into the Earth
knowing that time will
heal this ache that dwells within me,  for you.

soothing cold air,
rushes through my lungs,
exhilirating and renewing
my inner spirit,
I have been dormant for too long.

I will run free through the
virgin snow,
embracing the cold as if
it were your warmth.

Tunnels of love energy
surround my mind
and drive my loneliness
out into the universe.

Frolicking in the snow,
brings out the inner child
that longs to be free of any
pain and sadness.

I run toward the biggest snow pile,
and dive into it,
allowing myself to be safe
wishing you were here with me.

It is a freeing experience,
taking advantage
of Mother Earth's

Bountiful Moments!

Your poem reminded me of the good times we had in Vermont in the winter. It seems there has been a lot more snow this year in many places. ...M

An enchanting write, Amber. I read this while walking on my treadmill, and your imagery makes me want to go cool off in the foot of snow outside. Lovely!

Snow, which I never see anymore or touch, has that magic you so well express, Amber, that skill to make us feel something special and different, we are part of it without fully understanding why, it brings out our curses at times but it also brings out the best in our spirits.
This is so so good.
