Her Majesty, the Queen and Consort
ask me to dinner
almost every day.
A well known star
slips in my bed,
naked like Eva,
almost every night……
A white Rolls-Royce,
platinum plated body,
white gold plated wheels,
mink cushions,
is parked below my windows…..
Presidents of powerful countries
send heaps of decorations to me..
Famous poets copy my poetry.
Greedy tycoons give me
millions of dollars.
Legions of VIPs bow down humbly
before me.
Charming ladies
of the international smart set
long to taste
my virility
and give me
bottles of aphrodisiac….
I dismiss the mighty ones of the earth
for incompetence.
I pick up knick-knacks like
guns, missiles, nuclear bombs
and I fling them away
Into the deep ocean…..
I take my bath
In a swimming pool
overflowing with Dom Pèrignon.
Iridescent bubbles
are climbing
slowly,
by hundreds,
thousands.
They burst,
they burst
like pleasant dreams
come to the end.
