As daylight dawns,
My coherence is gone,
Despair drags on.
my security is no longer whole.

Commuters outside,
With their powder keg lives,
Cars barreling by
shoot through the rat race muzzle.

Yet Iím still abed,
Moods disturbingly dead;
My pathos is fed
by this vacancy resting inside me.

Death lowered His shade
On my soul yesterday.
All my strength slipped away
when your Life Star set before me.
