Sunset Trails to Peace

Watch as the sunsets unravel
They're sure to take your breath away
Creating such wonderful sights
Perfect endings to each new day

I believe it's the hand of God
Painting such a glorious sight
And I know deep down in my heart
They're our trails to a peaceful night

Such beautiful scenes to behold
I am sure that you will agree
They're masterpieces in the sky
God sends to us totally free

They can bring such peace to our hearts
Light shows that precede the dark night
Created just for our pleasure
Brought to us for our sheer delight

Uniqueness in each new sunset
A new one given us each day
A different work everytime
Done in God's very special way

My friends, when you just need a lift
Look to the west as comes the night
Watch the sun as it sets each day
Forget about your worries and strife

The sunsets have been fabulous lately out my window, enjoying them very much. Forgetting the worries and strife in my life-----why worry what comes alone have to deal with and will be anyways.

'MORNING BY MORNING, NEW MERCIES WE SEE...GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS'
WITH EVERY GOLDEN SUNSET COMES HIS UNSPOKEN PROMISE OF A BRAND NEW DAY AND REMINDS US THAT NO MATTER WE'VE GONE THROUGH THROUGHOUT THE DAY, HE IS STILL VERY MUCH IN CHARGE OF OUR LIVES...AND THE WHOLE WORLD! SO WE DON'T HAVE TO WORRY. A LOVELY REMINDER OF THE DUAL PURPOSES OF THE MOON LIGHT. CERTAINLY IT GIVES US LIGHT, BUT ALSO IT GIVES US...THE 'PEACE' OF JESUS CHRIST, THAT SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING. THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING, PAUL. GOD BLESS YOU. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Ah, such sweet counsel, Paul.
We just saw a blimp in the sky as we drove home. It is an impressive sight and some people were pulling their cars off the road to view it, even though it was probably 10 miles away.
But a sunset!---now that's something to see!
I love everything about this poem, and especially the line that includes your signature word, "trails." Let me write it so everyone can read it again....."And I know deep down in my heart
They're our trails to a peaceful night."
Beautiful!

What a poem, what a God and what great blessing just to look up and see! Psalm 19: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handiwork." This is a good poem, Paul, you'll be blessed!

Great advice Paul. I have neglected the sunsets these past few weeks. They are God's way of saying, "Good night and be blessed." Thank you my friend for the excellent and profound poetic reminder.

Yours in Christ,

John Michael
