Don't you wish she was yours,
not only in your dreams
to have and to hold mind,
body and soul.
Not just a picture in a magazine.

Picture of perfection,
driving you to distraction
Dreaming, dreaming,
don't you wish she was yours?

See her looking from a magazine,
catching her eyes
staring right back at you,
not even a blink,
not even a wink,
don't you wish shw was yours?

See her on the TV,
see her in the movies,
hear her on the radio.
Don't you wish she was yours?
Dreaming, Dreaming!

Ummm very thoughtfully written. It reminds me of the girl I met on the Meridian line at Tema in Ghana West Africa in 1974. I had these thoughts then. But now after two daughters and a marriage of 32 years to her, Jocelyn, I must thank you for bringing back the feelings in your poem.
