Hiding of emotions

Her

mask

in place

no one to see

her face… hiding

away her hurt and pain

always… keeping her mask

in place… never to see her face

now… crawling away to hide her pride

eyes now turned… as cold as chards of ice

keeping her mask in place; no one to see her face

Wear your mask no more my love
and do not crawl away
Don't want those eyes so cold
and I need to see and touch your face

"Her Mask" flows and glows greatly.

Lucille, this is a stark statement...only the pyramid form detracts.

You express the isolation and loneliness that accompanies such hurt very well.
