Weekends In New England
by Linda Alexander

Love, romance, innocence, intrigue, danger, and lust. Life is complicated, and love even more so. Life, and love, can be hazardous to a lady's health. Especially if she's..

THIS IS SPUR OF THE MOMENT AND PROBABLY NOT WORTHY OF NOTICE

I was wondering if it was fair,
the games that we play.
I was wandering aimlessly though
a generic sort of day.
I was in a rush at nothing and had time to earn pay.
There was nothing,
I was taken by the article of the "lady
with the child" and saw her heart so tender that it touched me for a while.
I almost went then I decided to stay.
I do hope that something I write down may say,
A mothers love will brighten
a bad day.
