For all those who have fallen prey to Alzheimer and their families ... God Bless You All

Fragile now amongst it all

Frail to every moment passing

Memories fade fast against the backdrop of time

Only now remains

Gone from sight to soon

Age consuming mind

But not the soul

Familiar faces turn strange

Loved ones holding on to images past

Finally accepting the decay

A self moving far from grasp

Yet somehow free releasing all

Unreachable in this place

Alone but for God’s sweet grace

Finality in life’s last embrace

To rest at last

Farewell

Powerful and heartfelt write, Michael; Alzheimer's is a cruel, insidious disease! God be with those who have it and those who care for them; that has got to be so damned hard!...

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :( >tears <
