Weeds of Youth

Are these the weeds sewn in my youth,
Thorny brambles taken root?
Reflections of what I’ve become
Tangled life of dreams undone?
What hope is left that I might give
To help those who long to live
A warning sign perhaps to wear
“Turn back, don’t follow, please beware
Ahead lies desperate, dark despair
Please take the path of weather fair
Of love and hope and peace do seek
Come no closer, don’t even peek
Your life is not like mine to waste
Flee the hell behind this gate”
That message might turn back a few
Maybe in my life renew
Sparks that kindle deep within
Wash away repentant sins
Who knows that roads our choices pave
In hindsight can we find our way?
Only time, the teller knows
Upon which road of life we go

The paths we choose are sometimes very rocky and sway to and frow, but there is always hope in changing course and our ways......

Our path has been laid before us even before we took out first breath they say.....sometimes dark and rocky but then at some stage it has to take a curve....and only then we will knows which way it goes!!

But hey if those are little spiders webs on that weed....you better make a plan okay....lol!!

Have a nice productive day poet of light!!

Love Tinka
