Feeling unwanted
A mist within the shadows
Seeking kindness
Love crushed, neutralized
Moving on undaunted
Silent cries into pillows
Searching through blindness
Cruelly scrutinized
Trust discounted
Loneliness aficionado
Retreat until mindless
Knowing only compromise
I live unobserved
Quite and alone
Until someday
Friendship Perhaps
Might find my heart
