The years have left their scars upon my life

Footsteps I never can retrace

Heart aches that linger through the night

So many hurt, so much disgrace

Shadows dance in darkness out of view

Glimpses of a life I’ll never know

Moments in my dreams each spent with you

Forgotten now, like melted snow

If I could live another 100 years

Choose a path of dignity and grace

Make the changes, cure my soul

Touch your mind, your heart, your face

Be the man my heart so longs to be

Now my earthly days are but a few

Darkness now revealed and closing fast

Nothing more to say, no more to do

I close my eyes, repent my past

If I could live another 100 years

Choose a path of dignity and grace

Make the changes, cure my soul

Touch your mind, your heart, your face

Be the man my heart so longs to be

Tell me please
